What to Expect From Paintball

Paintball is an extreme sport where players try to eliminate opponents by tagging them with paintballs (capsules) propelled from a paintball marker (paintball gun) it can be played with individual players or teams. We at Battle Blitz use paintballs that are made of non- toxic, bio-degradable, water soluble gelatin. Games are played on indoor fields. A paintball game field has a variety of natural and built terrain where players try to gain tactical advantage. Does it hurt to get shot with a paintball? It feels about the same as getting hit with a rubber band, the sting is gone after a couple seconds.

Gel Blaster (6+)

Gel blasters use small, spherical gel balls as their ammunition. These gel balls are typically made from a water-absorbing polymer and expand when soaked in water. When fired from the blaster, they can travel at varying speeds and distances, depending on the blaster's design and power source. Gel blasters are generally considered safer than traditional airsoft or paintball guns because the gel balls are softer and less likely to cause injury. However, eye protection is still required when using them to prevent eye injuries. Gel blasters are often used in organized games and scenarios, similar to airsoft or paintball. Players engage in various types of games and activities, such as team-based scenarios, capture the flag, and target shooting competitions.

Combat Paintball (11+)

Paintball is an exciting outdoor recreational sport that involves players using air-powered guns to shoot capsules of paint at each other. It's played in various formats, typically involving teams competing to eliminate opponents or complete objectives while avoiding being hit by paintballs. Safety is a fundamental aspect of paintball. Goggles or masks are mandatory to protect the eyes and face. The velocity of the paintballs shot by markers is regulated to ensure they don’t cause injury. Protective gear like padding and clothing is recommended to reduce the impact of paintballs. Strategy in paintball involves teamwork, communication, and tactics. Coordination among team members, covering teammates, advancing, and defending positions are crucial elements for success.
